Stein RCW3001 Lowering Device

THe RCW3001 is bollard system which can be used independantly or in conjunction with an attachable winch (available to purchase separately). The drum has two sets of rope guides (fairleads) angled at 45-degrees to allow the operator to quickly add or subtract wraps. Easily mounted by one person using the top attachment as a temporary suspension point whilst fixing in place with ratchet strap (supplied). This can be backed up by an anchor sling to the base anchor point if required. Supplied with two heavy duty rubber inserts for use when tree protection is required.

Should a lifting or pretensioning process be required a winch (available to purchase separately) can be attached to the bollard within seconds. The load is fully supported on the bollard whilst the winch is independantly attached, and once the load has been winched into position, the full weight is then easily transferred to the main rigging line by reversing the winch and separating the two lines. The load can then be safely lowered without any interference by the winch.

Suitable for ropes up to 19mm diameter. WLL of up to 3000kg subject to mounting type.
