The Planting Spear has been found to be the easiest tool to use in ground which is stony and on restock sites penetrated by roots or covered with brash. Used correctly it makes a hole the right depth and shape for the root plug. Designed for planting containerised stock. 711mm/28″ ash shaft. Head: 115mm/4.5″. Metal YD handle with a long socket for strength.
